Job summary

Citigroup in Bogotá, Colombia is seeking a Transaction Services Senior Supervisor to lead a medium unit and coordinate with the Transaction Capture team. The role focuses on process improvement, data interpretation, and reporting to minimize risk while ensuring adherence to audit controls.

The ideal candidate has 4-7 years in a related role, strong project management and leadership skills, fluent in Spanish and English, and the ability to train junior staff and drive change across the trade life

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of related experience.
• Subject Matter Expert in one or more skill sets, business areas or products.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Fluency in Spanish and English; Portuguese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Treasury and Trade services.
• Open and amend SBLCs, process payments and resolve customer issues.
• Supervise daily workflow of a medium Transaction Services Operations unit.
• Address complex issues and recommend new procedures.
• Evaluate team performance and manage personnel actions.
• Ensure task quality and analyze information to resolve issues.
• Contribute to development of new techniques related to the trade life cycle.
• Resolve complex trade flow problems and ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Contribute to change-the-bank projects and provide advanced solutions.
• Coach and train new recruits and mentor junior staff.
• Assess risk and uphold firm’s reputation with compliance.
