Platzi seeks a Senior Software Engineer to build and own the systems behind our product used by millions of students across Latin America. You’ll design data models, services, and interfaces that scale with growth and handle load, failures, and recovery.

You will work closely with the Growth Marketing team, report to the Engineering Manager, and prioritize maintainability and cost over time. You will make clear tradeoffs and defend your architectural choices.

Formación

• 5+ years shipping and operating software in production.
• Strong fundamentals in data modeling, APIs, performance and concurrency.
• Experience owning a system at scale or during a migration.
• Ability to weigh technical decisions against business needs.
• Fluent English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build services, data models and interfaces that scale with product and traffic.
• Own production performance, reliability, cost, and recovery.
• Make defendable architecture decisions and resist unnecessary complexity.
• Use AI/LLMs to accelerate design, implementation and review, and audit outputs.
• Raise the bar through code reviews and standards.
