Platzi is the largest technology school in the Hispanic world with millions of students and thousands of partner companies. As a Senior Software Engineer you will design and own the systems behind the product, including data models and services that scale and recover from failures, tied to the needs of a large user base.

You will work closely with the Growth Marketing team and report to the Engineering Manager.

Formación

• 5+ years deploying and operating software in production.
• Strong data modeling, APIs, performance and failure modes.
• Experience with scaling systems through migrations.
• Ability to balance business needs with technical tradeoffs.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build scalable services and data models.
• Own production systems: performance, reliability, cost.
• Make architecture decisions and avoid unnecessary complexity.
• Use AI/LLMs to speed design and review, evaluating outputs.
• Lead code reviews and enforce coding standards.
