Urban is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for its LATAM team to design and build a robust backend system for their groundbreaking financial operating platform. You will write clean, testable code and integrate AI features while working in a fully remote environment.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of backend experience, fluency in English and in either Spanish or Portuguese, and proficiency in backend languages like Go or Python. This position is critical in developing services that cater to clients across multiple countries.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
• Fluent in English and Spanish or Portuguese.
• Strong proficiency in Go, Python, or Node.js/TypeScript.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Solid understanding of relational databases.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain backend services for financial transactions.
• Write production-quality code in Go, Python, or Node.js/TypeScript.
• Integrate LLM API calls into backend services.
• Work closely with global engineering and product teams.
