Job summary

Caseware, a leading global fintech company, is seeking a Senior Software Developer III to drive architecture and design for a cloud-native SaaS platform. You will mentor engineers, influence cross-team decisions, and partner with stakeholders to translate technical choices into business value.

The role emphasizes agentic‑AI tooling, reliability, and scalable architecture. You will lead design reviews, RFCs, and contribute to how Caseware’s platform evolves with a focus on secure, scalable APIs

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience with impact beyond a single team.
• Designing and operating distributed, cloud-native SaaS/multi-tenant platforms; ideally on AWS.
• Strong software fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, SOLID, code quality advocacy.
• Experience with agentic‑AI software development practices.
• Experience designing and consuming well‑designed HTTP APIs (REST/GraphQL).
• Experience mentoring developers and influencing architectural decisions across teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; English upper-intermediate/High (B2+).
• Initiative to improve processes, tools, methodologies, and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Create architecture, prototypes, and design proposals delivering near-term value aligned with product vision.
• Influence technical direction through architecture reviews and design discussions.
• Define and execute the product/platform architecture roadmap with senior teams.
• Balance delivery speed, quality, and long-term platform health in decisions.
• Break down large initiatives into parallelizable work delivering incremental value.
• Lead SDLC proposals from design to production deployment.
• Improve core product build, CI/CD pipelines, and overall SDLC.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive reliability, observability, and incident response.
