Job summary

Caseware is seeking an experienced software architect with 8+ years in cloud-native SaaS, preferably on AWS. You will define architecture, influence technical direction, and mentor teams while balancing speed with long-term platform health.

You will collaborate across teams to evolve the product platform, improve CI/CD, and drive reliable, secure, and scalable software delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years building distributed, cloud-native SaaS platforms at scale.
• Proven design and operating experience with AWS-based systems.
• Strong fundamentals in OOP, patterns, SOLID, and code quality.
• Experience with agentic AI development practices and APIs.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the product/platform architecture roadmap with senior teams.
• Lead architecture reviews, RFCs, and design discussions for reliability.
• Collaborate with architects and tech leads to deliver scalable solutions.
• Balance velocity with long-term platform health and maintainability.
• Mentor developers through design reviews and AI-assisted workflows.
• Improve CI/CD, observability, and incident response practices.
