Fastly, Inc. is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer in Colombia to drive the technical presales motion across LATAM, identifying customer pain points and architecting edge, AI, and cybersecurity solutions.

Join a team working with Account Executives, Product Management, and Engineering to demonstrate cloud and security capabilities, run PoCs, and address competitive objections across WAF, DDoS, API Security, and Edge Compute.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT/Cloud experience in enterprise settings.
• 5+ years in customer-facing presales role.
• Hands-on cloud architectures & Web security (WAF/DDoS/API).
• CDN/Edge, Bot Management expertise.
• AI/LLM architecture and governance knowledge.
• Fluent Portuguese; professional English & Spanish.
• Based in/near São Paulo, Brazil.
• Strong commercial acumen across LATAM sectors.
• Experience with JavaScript, Python, Go or Rust.
• Excellent presentation and executive communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with enterprise prospects to map architecture and AI workloads.
• Conduct live product demonstrations and PoCs/PoVs across WAF, DDoS, API security, and edge.
• Position AI & security portfolio, including AI Firewall and Bot Management, at client.
• Guide API discovery, validate edge traffic, and mitigate OWASP API Top 10 risks.
• Design custom solution architectures and ensure secure client integration.
• Prepare technical responses to RFIs, RFPs, and security questionnaires per LGPD.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and global Product/Engineering teams.
• Create customer-facing technical content; run workshops and webinars.
