AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the software development lifecycle. You will design and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers using tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and champion a right-sized test pyramid.

Formación

• 4+ years of quality engineering or automation experience.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted testing tools.
• Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured or Postman.
• Mobile test automation experience (iOS/Android).
• Ability to read, write, or debug test code in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C#.
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD and shifting-left quality practices.
• Experience with AI-assisted testing tools and practices.
• Upper-Intermediate English.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and Architects to embed quality at every SDLC stage.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration and UI layers.
• Champion a right-sized test pyramid to balance unit, service, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand code changes and test coverage.
• Build scalable automation frameworks and integrate into CI/CD pipelines for rapid feedback.
• Promote shift-left practices via backlog refinement and code reviews to identify risks early.
• Leverage AI-powered tools for test generation, analysis, and coverage optimization.
