Caseware, a leading global fintech software provider, seeks an experienced Senior Principal AI Platform Architect to shape the architecture of its AI platform. You will define standards for scalable, secure, multi-tenant SaaS, collaborating across Product, QA, Security, SMEs, and Engineering.

You will lead AI systems from design to production, focusing on LLMs, retrieval pipelines, agentic workflows, governance, observability, and cost efficiency, while mentoring engineers and driving platform

Formación

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years building and operating production AI systems.
• Proven experience designing distributed, SaaS, cloud-native, multi-tenant platforms at scale.
• Experience implementing AI guardrails, governance controls, and safety mechanisms.
• Strong understanding of AI system tradeoffs including latency, cost, accuracy, reliability and scalability.
• Extensive experience building and operating production systems on AWS.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
• Experience mentoring engineers and influencing architectural decisions across teams.
• Strong English language communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with ambiguity and evolving requirements.
• Experience operating systems in regulated or compliance-heavy domains.
• Familiarity with accounting, auditing, or financial workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Define and evolve the technical architecture for Caseware’s AI platform across teams.
• Design, build, and operate AI systems powered by LLMs, retrieval pipelines, and agentic workflows.
• Establish evaluation, governance, auditability, and traceability frameworks.
• Translate AI advances into practical platform capabilities that solve customer problems.
• Influence technical direction through architecture reviews and RFCs.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and cloud capabilities.
• Lead proofs-of-concept to inform platform strategy.
• Balance delivery speed with long-term platform health.
• Drive reliability, observability, monitoring, and incident response practices.
• Ensure systems are resilient, scalable, and cost-effective in production.
• Partner with Product, QA, Security, Domain SMEs, and Engineering to deliver business value.
• Act as a trusted technical leader, mentoring engineers across teams.
• Mentor engineers across teams and contribute to raising engineering maturity.
