We are seeking an experienced IT Recruiter in Colombia who can lead full-cycle recruitment, close senior candidates, and design sourcing strategies aligned with multinational compensation practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years IT recruiting experience in Colombia.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Experience closing senior-level candidates and negotiating offer terms.
• Deep understanding of the Colombia IT talent market.
• Experience setting up a new team/R&D office in Colombia.
• Knowledge of compensation and benefits offerings among multinational companies in Colombia.
• Strong client focus with ability to build sourcing strategies and trusted relationships.
• Knowledge of local platforms for sourcing IT specialists and experience using ATS.
• Fluency in IT terminology, platforms, frameworks, and languages.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Be a key person in coordinating the recruitment process in Colombia and educate recruiters on IT talent attraction best practices.
• Create a strong network and pipeline of potential candidates in the Colombian labor market.
• Work closely as an Account Manager with clients to understand hiring needs, culture, and values.
• Start projects from scratch and build hiring processes.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment: searching, interviewing, and closing technical vacancies with candidate feedback.
• Collaborate with the Alcor Team of IT Researchers and promote vacancies in the market.

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years of IT recruiting experience in Colombia.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Experience closing senior-level candidates and negotiating offer terms.
• Deep understanding of the hiring process and features of the Colombia IT talent market.
• Participated in the setup of a new team in Colombia, has general knowledge of opening an R&D office of an IT company
• Knowledge of compensation and benefits offerings among multi-national companies in Colombia.
• Strong client focus with the ability to build effective sourcing strategies and trustful relationships, supporting them in executing ambitious growth plans.
• Knowledge of local platforms for sourcing IT specialists and experience using recruiting tools such as Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Fluency in IT technical terminology, platforms, frameworks, and languages.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

AS A PLUS

• Experience working with IT researchers.
• Recruitment agency experience.
• Practical sales experience.
• Experience in team leading or mentoring.

SCOPE OF DUTIES

• Be a key person in coordinating the recruitment process in Colombia, improve our recruitment processes and educate recruiters on IT talent attraction / best practices in Colombia.
• Creation of a strong network and pipeline of potential candidates in the Colombia labor market.
• Working closely as an Account Manager with clients to better understand their hiring needs, culture, and values.
• Starting a project from scratch and building hiring processes.
• Managing full-cycle recruitment processes: searching, interviewing, and selecting exceptional talent, keeping candidates in the loop at every stage, providing feedback, job offer negotiation, and closing technical vacancies.
• Cooperation with the Alcor Team of IT Researchers.
• Highlight issues during the hiring process, create an improvement action plan, and vacancy promotion on the IT market.
