Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer in Cartagena, Colombia to design, operate, and improve the systems behind corporate IT services and business applications.

You will administer Windows and Linux servers, manage virtualization, storage, backup, and monitoring, while supporting AWS/Azure and identity services. Strong collaboration and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise IT infra.
• Strong Windows and Linux server administration and virtualization.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and identity/security services.
• Experience with AD or similar identity platforms and service accounts.
• Experience with lifecycle management, patching, and incident management.
• Ability to troubleshoot cross-layer infra issues and document solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise infrastructure across on-prem, data centers, cloud, and locations.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, storage, backup, file services.
• Support AWS, Azure, or comparable cloud infra and access controls.
• Manage identity, authentication, authorization, and service-account integrations.
• Plan upgrades, migrations, patching, capacity, and decommissioning.
• Monitor health, performance, backup status, and security signals; address risks.
• Lead root-cause analyses for incidents and implement fixes.
• Develop automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible.
• Maintain architecture diagrams, runbooks, and recovery procedures.
• Support disaster recovery planning and business continuity tests.
• Collaborate with security, network, cloud, and compliance teams.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.
