AgileEngine is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, operate, and improve enterprise IT systems across on‑premises and cloud. You will manage Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, storage, backups, and core services while supporting cloud platforms and identity controls.

The role emphasizes automation, incident management, and documentation, with flexible remote/office options and a focus on secure, scalable infrastructure in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Strong Windows and Linux server administration, virtualization, storage, backup, monitoring.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and IAM, security services.
• Experience with Active Directory or comparable identity platforms.
• Experience with infrastructure lifecycle, patching, change control, and incident management.
• Ability to create implementation plans and assess risk.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure across on‑prem, data centers, cloud platforms, and business locations.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms, storage, backup systems, file services, and core infrastructure services.
• Support AWS, Azure, or comparable cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, access controls, monitoring, and operations.
• Manage identity and access services, including Active Directory and service-account management.
• Plan and execute upgrades, migrations, patching, lifecycle replacements, capacity expansions, and decommissioning.
• Monitor infrastructure health, availability, performance, capacity, backups, and security signals.
• Lead root-cause analysis for incidents and implement preventive actions.
• Develop automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible to improve reliability.
• Maintain architecture diagrams, inventories, runbooks, and recovery procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations and cross-team collaborations.
