AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, operate, and improve the systems behind corporate IT services and business applications. You’ll work across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid environments, building automation and reinforcing security in a dynamic, growth‑minded company.

The role emphasizes lifecycle management, AD/identity expertise, and collaboration with security, network, and vendor teams to deliver reliable infrastructure services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years of progressive enterprise IT infrastructure experience.
• Proficient with Windows and Linux server administration, virtualization, storage, backup, monitoring.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and dependencies across compute/storage/networking/identity/security.
• Experience with Active Directory or identity platforms and service-account management.
• Experience with lifecycle management, patching, vulnerability remediation, change control, incident management, and documentation.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and build automation.
• Strong communication, prioritization, and ownership in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise infrastructure across on-premises environments, data centers, cloud platforms, and business locations.
• Administer and support Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms, storage, backup systems, file services, and core infrastructure services.
• Support AWS, Azure, or comparable cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking dependencies, access controls, monitoring, and operational readiness.
• Support identity and access services, including Active Directory, cloud identity, authentication, authorization, group and service-account management, and integrations with enterprise applications.
• Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, migrations, patching, lifecycle replacements, capacity expansions, and decommissioning activities.
• Monitor infrastructure health, availability, performance, capacity, backup status, and security signals; investigate trends and address risks proactively.
• Respond to infrastructure incidents and escalations, lead root-cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and maintain automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible, or comparable tools to improve reliability and reduce manual work.
• Maintain accurate architecture diagrams, asset inventories, configuration standards, dependency maps, runbooks, recovery procedures, and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Build and maintain reliable backup coverage through cross-training, paired operations, structured handoffs, and current documentation for systems owned across the team.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning, including recovery testing, backup validation, restoration procedures, and recovery-time objectives.
• Partner with security, network, cloud, application, service desk, compliance, and vendor teams on technical issues and delivery initiatives.
• Apply disciplined change, incident, problem, and request-management practices, including risk assessment, testing, approvals, communications, and rollback planning.
• Support audit, security, vulnerability-management, access-review, and compliance activities for infrastructure services.
• Participate in an on-call or after-hours support rotation as required.
