Role Description

The Senior Human Resources Recruiter is a full-time, remote position supporting D-Trans’s headquarters in Venice, Florida. This role manages the complete recruitment process for professional and operational positions, including dispatchers, logistics coordinators, drivers, and support staff.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include partnering with hiring managers to define staffing needs, sourcing candidates, screening applications, conducting interviews, coordinating offers, and supporting onboarding. The recruiter will maintain talent pipelines, accurate recruiting records, and hiring metrics while helping improve recruitment processes and employer branding.

The successful candidate must work independently, communicate effectively with U.S.-based managers, and be available during agreed-upon U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably within transportation, logistics, or a similarly regulated industry.
• Experience recruiting for U.S.-based companies; international recruiting experience is a plus.
• Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to conduct interviews and communicate professionally with candidates and hiring managers.
• Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, referrals, and direct outreach.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms, and recruiting reporting tools.
• Ability to assess candidate qualifications, communication skills, and suitability for operational and professional roles.
• Familiarity with applicable hiring requirements, confidentiality standards, and fair recruitment practices.
• Proven ability to manage multiple openings, prioritize effectively, and meet hiring deadlines.
• Strong organization, follow-through, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Reliable internet access and a quiet, professional workspace suitable for confidential interviews.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
