AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Full Stack Tech Lead in Manizales, Colombia to guide a squad and build backend services with Java and Spring Boot, supported by an Angular frontend. The role emphasizes leadership, scalable RESTful APIs, and domain-driven design within a hybrid work model.

You will mentor junior developers, drive architecture decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on modernizing the stack while delivering high-quality software for Fortune 500 brands and startups.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience as Tech Lead or Squad Lead.
• Java (Spring Boot) and Angular with at least 6 years of experience.
• Hands-on Kafka experience.
• Strong knowledge of OOA/OOD, design patterns, and architectural patterns.
• Domain-Driven Design with bounded contexts.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Squad Lead, driving the team to deliver with high engineering standards.
• Design and implement backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain the Angular frontend and connect UI to backend logic.
• Lead modernization towards a domain-driven architecture with strong bounded contexts.
• Architect RESTful APIs with proper HTTP verbs and scalable patterns.
• Mentor the team and promote agile practices to grow engineers.
• Push back for architectural integrity when needed.
