AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Full Stack Engineer in Cartagena, Colombia, to build backend services with Java and Spring Boot, backed by an Angular frontend, for an enterprise platform.

You will design robust RESTful APIs, integrate with PostgreSQL/Oracle databases, and drive the transition toward domain-driven architecture while collaborating in cross-functional squads in a people-first culture. The role supports flexible remote/onsite options and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and Angular, of at least 4 years.
• Strong grasp of OOD and software design patterns.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful services with clear API protocols.
• Relational databases experience (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and JPA/Hibernate with robust transactional workloads.
• Interest in server-side logic, performance, and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Core Development: design and implement backend services using Java/Spring Boot (~70-80%).
• Frontend integration: build and maintain Angular frontend to connect UI with backend logic.
• Architectural modernization: move toward domain-driven design (DDD).
• API excellence: craft RESTful APIs with proper HTTP semantics and scalable patterns.
• Collaborate in cross-functional squads to deliver high-quality features.
