AgileEngine, LLC. in Villavicencio, Colombia, is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to build backend services with Java and Spring Boot, backed by an Angular frontend for an enterprise platform.

You will spend most of your time on backend development, design scalable REST APIs, and drive a shift toward domain-driven architecture, collaborating with cross-functional squads.

The role offers flextime with remote and office options, and USD-based compensation.

Qualifications

Advanced proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and Angular, at least 4 years.
Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and design patterns.
Experience building and consuming RESTful services.
Robust SQL skills with PostgreSQL or Oracle and JPA/Hibernate.
Experience with transactional databases and high-transaction platforms.
Passion for server-side logic, performance, and architecture.

Responsibilities

Design and implement robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Build and maintain the Angular frontend integration.
Lead the transition toward domain-driven architecture (DDD).
Architect RESTful APIs with proper HTTP verbs and scalable patterns.
