AgileEngine is seeking a Senior FinOps Analyst to advise engineering teams on cloud costs and optimization. The role requires coverage of APAC business hours, with overlap to PST and CST, and demands collaboration with R&D/engineering teams on cost forecasting and spend analyses.

Ideal candidates will have 4+ years in FinOps, strong experience with cloud cost management, anomaly investigations, and proactive cost optimization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of FinOps experience and strong cloud cost management.
• Ability to investigate spend anomalies and produce root-cause analyses.
• Experience advising and consulting with R&D/engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for R&D teams seeking cloud cost guidance via Slack and other channels.
• Monitor cloud spend for anomalies and prepare written root-cause analyses with recommendations.
• Engage with APAC teams for monthly spend reviews and cost optimization opportunities.
• Participate in monthly forecasting, aligning central forecasts with team plans.
• Contribute to showback reporting and cost education initiatives.
