AgileEngine is seeking a Senior FinOps Analyst to advise engineering teams on cloud costs and optimization. This role requires a schedule that covers APAC business hours (evening/night shift in LATAM/US), including overlap with PST and afternoon CST.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of FinOps experience.
• Strong cloud cost management and optimization skills.
• Investigate spend anomalies and provide root-cause analyses.
• Partner-facing role advising R&D/engineering teams.
• Forecasting cloud costs with central and team projections.
• Familiar with OpenAI/LLM cost drivers and monitoring.
• Cost modeling and tracking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Availability to cover APAC hours with PST and CST overlap.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for R&D cloud cost guidance via Slack and channels.
• Engage APAC-based teams to review monthly cloud spend and forecast.
• Monitor spend for anomalies; produce root-cause analyses; document in Jira.
• Contribute to monthly forecasting; align forecasts with team plans.
• Support cost awareness and update wiki.
• Model team cost projections and respond to help requests.
