MPS Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain modern data platforms using Snowflake and Google Cloud Platform in Bogotá. You will drive data migration, ingestion pipelines, and data product enablement.

You will document data assets, implement metadata governance, and support IaC with Terraform and YAML, collaborating with architects and analysts to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related data platform roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Snowflake in production environments.
• Experience building data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Composer, or equivalent).
• Proven experience delivering data migration or modernization projects involving Snowflake and cloud‑based data platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ingestion frameworks using Snowflake and Google Cloud Platform.
• Lead and support data migration initiatives between enterprise data platforms, including Snowflake‑based environments.
• Build, optimize, and maintain data models that support analytics, reporting, and data product consumption.
• Develop and manage metadata‑driven solutions, ensuring data assets are discoverable, governed, and reusable.
• Create, maintain, and enhance YAML‑based configurations, metadata definitions, and deployment artifacts.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Produce high‑quality technical documentation for data products, pipelines, operational processes, and platform capabilities.
• Support CI/CD and infrastructure automation practices, leveraging Infrastructure as Code principles where applicable.
