MPS Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain modern data platforms using Snowflake and Google Cloud Platform in Bogotá. You will drive data migration, ingestion pipelines, and data product enablement.

You will document data assets, implement metadata governance, and support IaC with Terraform and YAML, collaborating with architects and analysts to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related data platform roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Snowflake in production environments.
• Experience building data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Composer, or equivalent).
• Proven experience delivering data migration or modernization projects involving Snowflake and cloud‑based data platforms.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong hands‑on experience designing, building, and maintaining modern data platforms using Snowflake and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role will focus on data migration, data integration, and data product enablement initiatives, helping organizations build scalable, governed, and well‑documented data ecosystems. The ideal candidate combines solid data engineering expertise with a strong understanding of data modelling, metadata management, and data product documentation. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and metadata-driven architectures is highly valued. Documentation and ownership of data assets are key aspects of this role.

• Proficiency in SQL and one or more programming languages such as Python.
