MPS Group LLC in Bogotá seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain modern data platforms using Snowflake and GCP. You will drive data migration and data product enablement initiatives to create scalable, governed data ecosystems and well-documented assets.

• 5+ years in Data Engineering or related data platform roles.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience in production environments.
• Experience building data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Composer).
• Proven data migration or modernization projects involving Snowflake and cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of dimensional modelling and data warehousing.
• Experience with metadata management, data cataloging, and governance.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience creating data product documentation and runbooks.
• Experience authoring YAML configurations or declarative frameworks.
• Hands-on Terraform and IaC practices valued.
• Experience with metadata-driven DataOps frameworks is highly valued.
• Familiarity with DataHub, Collibra, Alation is highly valued.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment patterns for data platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ingestion frameworks using Snowflake and Google Cloud Platform.
• Lead data migrations between enterprise data platforms, including Snowflake-based environments.
• Build, optimize, and maintain data models that support analytics, reporting, and data product consumption.
• Develop and manage metadata-driven solutions, ensuring data assets are discoverable, governed, and reusable.
• Create, maintain, and enhance YAML-based configurations, metadata definitions, and deployment artifacts.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation for data products, pipelines, operational processes, and platform capabilities.
• Support CI/CD and infrastructure automation practices, leveraging Infrastructure as Code principles where applicable.
