MPS Group LLC is seeking a Senior Data Engineer L2 or Manager for a full-time remote role open to Colombia. The candidate will design and maintain data platforms using Snowflake and GCP, focusing on data migration, integration, and data product enablement.

The role emphasizes metadata management, governance, documentation, and IaC practices, with strong emphasis on collaboration with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform roles.
• Hands-on Snowflake in production environments.
• Experience building data solutions on GCP services.
• Proven data migration or modernization project experience with Snowflake.
• Strong dimensional modelling and data warehousing knowledge.
• Experience with metadata management, data cataloging, and governance.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Experience creating data product documentation and runbooks.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and GCP.
• Lead data migration initiatives between enterprise data platforms.
• Build and optimize data models for analytics and data products.
• Develop metadata-driven solutions ensuring discoverability and governance.
• Create and maintain YAML configurations, metadata definitions, and deployment artifacts.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation for data products and processes.
• Support CI/CD and infrastructure automation with IaC principles.
