AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to partner with an internal data team on a Customer Data Platform initiative, building Snowflake semantic structures and AI-ready data models for a growing retail brand.

You will write production-grade SQL and Python, build and maintain data models in Snowflake, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical specifications. Eastern Time overlap preferred.

Formación

• 4+ years writing complex, optimized SQL and handling semi-structured data.
• Strong Python skills for data manipulation, automation, and quality checks.
• Hands-on cloud data experience (AWS, Snowflake, GCP or Azure).
• Excellent collaboration with business partners and clear requirements translation.
• Commitment to thorough technical documentation and comments.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with an internal data team to model and transform datasets in Snowflake for the CDP.
• Develop Snowflake views, semantic models, and metadata to support AI/BI tools.
• Engineer datasets for retail initiatives and ensure data quality.
• Write production-grade SQL and Python for data wrangling and automation.
• Translate business requests into clean, structured data models.
• Parse semi-structured data (JSON) and flatten complex payloads.
• Maintain data models, semantic views, and documentation.
• Follow git workflows and data testing protocols.
