AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to partner with an internal data team on a Customer Data Platform initiative. You will build Snowflake semantic structures, clean and transform customer and behavioral data, and develop AI-ready data models.

Expect production-grade SQL and Python, cross-functional collaboration, and strong documentation across assets. Eastern Time overlap preferred, with the role offering full remote work and flexible hours.

Formación

• 4+ years writing complex, optimized SQL with window functions and nested data.
• Proficient Python for data manipulation, automation, and data quality checks.
• Hands-on experience in at least one cloud data ecosystem (AWS, Snowflake, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong communication with business partners to translate needs into technical specs.
• Disciplined documentation habits and clean code comments.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Model and transform data inside Snowflake for the Customer Data Platform (CDP).
• Develop Snowflake views, semantic models, and metadata to support AI and BI tools.
• Prepare datasets for retail initiatives and analytics workflows.
• Write production-grade SQL and Python for data transformation and wrangling.
• Translate ambiguous business requests into clean data models with stakeholders.
• Parse semi-structured data (JSON) from cloud sources and flatten for modeling.
• Maintain data dictionaries, model descriptions, and asset documentation.
• Follow Git workflows and data testing practices.
