AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to partner with an internal data team on a Customer Data Platform initiative. You will build Snowflake semantic structures, clean and transform customer and behavioral data, and develop AI-ready data models for a growing retail brand.

You will write production-grade SQL and Python, and maintain documentation across assets. Eastern Time Zone overlap is preferred, and you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate

Formación

• 4+ years writing complex SQL with window functions and handling semi-structured data.
• Strong Python for data manipulation, automation, API/file processing, and data quality checks.
• Hands-on experience in at least one major cloud data ecosystem (AWS, Snowflake, GCP or Azure).
• Strong collaboration with business partners, asking clarifying questions, turning needs into technical specs.

Responsabilidades

• Model and transform data in Snowflake for the CDP.
• Develop AI-ready semantic layers and metadata ground truth for BI tools.
• Prepare datasets for key retail initiatives (inventory, RFID, customer analytics).
• Write production-grade SQL and Python for data wrangling and transformations.
• Translate business requests into clean, structured data models with stakeholders.
• Parse and flatten complex semi-structured data (JSON, nested payloads).
• Maintain data models, semantic views, and data dictionaries.
