AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to partner with internal data teams on a Customer Data Platform initiative, building Snowflake semantic structures and AI-ready data models for a growing retail client.

You will write production-grade SQL and Python, maintain data models and semantic views in Snowflake, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate needs into technical specifications. Remote options available, EST overlap preferred.

Formación

• 4+ years writing complex, optimized SQL, including window functions and semi-structured data handling.
• Strong Python skills for data manipulation, automation, and data quality checks.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud data ecosystem (AWS, Snowflake, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong ability to collaborate with business partners, ask clarifying questions, and translate needs into technical specs.
• Rigorous documentation habit: maintain thorough technical docs and code comments.

Responsabilidades

• CDP data modeling: clean, transform, and structure customer, sales, and behavioral data inside Snowflake.
• Develop Snowflake views, semantic models, and metadata to ground downstream AI/BI tools.
• Engineer datasets for key retail initiatives and ad-hoc analytics with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Write production-grade SQL and Python scripts for data transformation and wrangling.
• Translate ambiguous business requests into clean, structured data models.
• Parse and flatten complex semi-structured data (JSON, nested payloads) from cloud sources.
