AgileEngine, LLC is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to partner with an internal data team on a Customer Data Platform initiative, building Snowflake semantic structures, cleaning and transforming customer and behavioral datasets, and developing AI-ready data models for a growing retail brand.

You will write production-grade SQL and Python, build and maintain data models and semantic views in Snowflake, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate operational needs into

• 4+ years writing complex, optimized SQL with window functions.
• Strong Python skills for data manipulation and automation.
• Hands-on cloud data platform experience (AWS/Snowflake/GCP/Azure).
• Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation discipline.

Responsabilidades

• Model and transform data inside Snowflake to feed the CDP.
• Develop semantic models and metadata for AI readiness and BI tools.
• Prepare data for retail initiatives and analytics projects.
• Write production-grade SQL and Python for data wrangling and automation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate needs into data models.
• Parse and flatten semi-structured data (JSON) from cloud sources.
• Build and maintain data models and semantic views in Snowflake.
• Document data assets with dictionaries and descriptions.
• Maintain clean code repositories and git workflows.
