Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to operate and improve the cloud infrastructure behind an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment.

You will lead complex incidents, manage AWS/EKS workloads, and drive automation and observability across the platform. The role requires 5+ years in Cloud/DevOps or SRE, strong English communication, and experience with Argo Workflows, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud/DevOps or SRE roles.
• Strong hands-on with AWS in production.
• Kubernetes and AWS EKS expertise with workloads and observability.
• Argo Workflows administration and troubleshooting.
• IaC with Terraform and git-based delivery.
• Build, harden, and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitoring/logging/incident tools (Splunk, PagerDuty, Opsgenie).
• Lead incident resolution and root cause analysis.
• Automation with Python/Shell scripting.
• Strong English communication and stakeholder collaboration.
• Mentor engineers and participate in on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical ownership for Cloud/DevOps during LatAm coverage window.
• Operate and improve AWS infrastructure including EKS, S3, EventBridge, SQS, API Gateway, Lambda.
• Administer Kubernetes workloads and Argo Workflows; ensure deployment and recovery.
• Define standards for IaC, config management, CI/CD, and release processes (Terraform).
• Improve observability and link alerts to runbooks across Argo, dbt, Snowflake.
• Improve alert routing across Splunk, Opsgenie, PagerDuty, Teams and observability tools.
• Lead major incident response and post-incident reviews with stakeholders.
• Design reliability improvements, auto-remediation, and dependency-aware alerts.
• Track service metrics: availability, SLA, alert volumes, deployment outcomes.
• Maintain runbooks, procedures, architecture context, and knowledge transfer.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and promote best practices across the team.
• Participate in on-call rotation outside staffed hours.
