Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking aSenior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to operate and improve the cloud infrastructure for an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment.

The role requires 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or SRE, with advanced AWS EKS and Kubernetes skills, and experience with Argo Workflows. You will lead CI/CD automation, observability, and incident response while collaborating with Data Engineering, Security, Governance, analytics, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or SRE.
• Hands-on AWS production experience.
• Advanced Kubernetes/Amazon EKS experience.
• Administer and troubleshoot Argo Workflows.
• Strong Terraform and IaC experience.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting tools.
• Ability to lead incident resolution and RCA.
• Proficiency in Python, Shell, or Bash.
• Strong English communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical ownership for the Cloud / DevOps service tower during the LatAm coverage window.
• Operate, maintain, and improve AWS infrastructure supporting the Data Platform.
• Administer Kubernetes workloads and Argo Workflows including deployment and troubleshooting.
• Define and improve standards for Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD.
• Lead observability improvements and link alerts to runbooks.
• Improve alert routing and escalation workflows across tools.
• Lead or support major incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Design reliability improvements and automate repetitive work.
• Track service metrics including availability and deployment outcomes.
• Apply change-management, access-control, and audit practices for regulated environments.
• Create runbooks and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and promote consistent execution.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical incidents.
