AgileEngine, LLC. in Barranquilla is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to operate and improve the cloud infrastructure behind an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment.

You will own and advance AWS/EKS, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, Terraform IaC, and CI/CD pipelines, while leading incident response, improving observability, and mentoring peers across Data Engineering and Security teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Cloud/DevOps/SRE experience.
• Hands-on AWS production experience.
• Kubernetes and EKS expertise with workload ops.
• Argo Workflows administration/troubleshooting.
• Terraform IaC and git-based delivery practices.
• CI/CD pipeline deployment and release experience.
• Monitoring/logging/alerting with Splunk, PagerDuty, or Opsgenie.
• Root-cause analysis and incident prevention.
• Python/Shell scripting proficiency.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Ability to work within LatAm window and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical ownership for the Cloud/DevOps service tower during LatAm coverage.
• Operate, maintain, and improve AWS infrastructure supporting the Data Platform.
• Administer Kubernetes workloads and Argo Workflows for deployment and recovery.
• Define and improve standards for IaC, configuration, CI/CD, and releases.
• Lead observability improvements across infra and data workloads.
• Improve alert routing across Splunk, Opsgenie, PagerDuty, and Teams.
• Lead or support major incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Design reliability improvements including auto-remediation and automation.
• Track service metrics like availability, SLA compliance, and MTTR.
• Apply change-management, access-control, and auditability in regulated env.
• Create runbooks, procedures, and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and promote best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical incidents.
