FullStack is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join our remote team. You will work on Laravel and Go microservices, collaborating with clients and our product teams to build scalable, reliable backend systems that power AI-driven applications across the Americas.

The role requires 5+ years of backend experience, advanced English, a four-year degree, and a track record of deploying monoliths to microservices.

Formación

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Advanced English required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience with Laravel, PHP and Go in production.
• Experience migrating monoliths to microservices.
• Ability to design and scale backend systems for high-traffic launches.
• On-call duties with tight SLAs (e.g., 15 minutes).
• Nice to have: payments, fraud prevention knowledge.
• Experience with Next.js or React Native is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants is a plus.
• Willingness to work PT timezone hours and collaborate across time zones.
• CI/CD and automated testing experience.
• Attention to detail and ownership mindset.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
