FullStack Labs, Inc. is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. You will work on Laravel and Go microservices, either embedded with client teams or on FullStack product initiatives, delivering scalable backend solutions for high-traffic launches.

Advanced English is required, and a four-year degree is mandatory. The role emphasizes on-call rotations, CI/CD discipline, and ownership of complex systems, with a strong focus on reliability and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
• Advanced English required.
• Four-year college degree required.
• Experience with Laravel and PHP backends.
• Experience rewriting monolithic logic into Go microservices.
• Scaled backend infrastructure for high-traffic launches.
• On-call engineering rotation duties with SLAs (e.g., 15 minutes).
• Payments, redemptions, or fraud prevention knowledge is a plus.
• Frontend/mobile exposure (Next.js/React Native) is a nice-to-have.
• Work hours aligned with Pacific Time (PT).
• Ability to own and improve code and libraries.

Responsibilities

• Join as part of either Team Augmentation or Design & Build for client projects.
• Contribute to building and delivering backend services on Go microservices and Laravel.
• Maintain and scale backend systems with high reliability and CI/CD pipelines.
