Job summary

FullStack is hiring aSenior Backend Engineer to join our team. You will work with clients in two engagement modes: team augmentation or full-stack product development.

Required: 5+ years in backend, expert Laravel and PHP, and experience with Go microservices. English proficiency and a four-year degree are essential. Remote work with PT-aligned hours, and a strong ownership mindset are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
• Must have completed a four-year college degree.
• Experience with Laravel and PHP in monolithic backends.
• Experience extracting and rewriting monolith logic into Go microservices.
• Ability to scale backend infra for high-traffic launches and concurrency.
• On-call rotation duties with defined SLAs (e.g., 15 minutes).
• Nice to have: payments, redemptions, or fraud prevention pipelines knowledge.
• Exposure to Next.js or React Native is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants in daily workflow is a plus.
• Proactive problem solver with CI/CD experience and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend development using Laravel and Go microservices.
• Collaborate with clients and design/engineering teams in two engagement models.
• Ensure high-availability and scalable backend systems.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and on-call rotations with SLA adherence.
• Contribute to libraries and internal tooling as needed.
