Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) in daily operations.
• Experience managing inventory accounting and related cost transactions.
• Strong background in transactional accounting and reconciliation processes.
• Knowledge of accounting methods for e-commerce or CPG businesses.
• Experience supporting or owning month-end close activities.
• High attention to detail and accurate financial recordkeeping.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and resolve issues.
• Excellent written and verbal client communication skills.
• Ability to track open items and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end month-end close for a client portfolio, including AP, AR, and payroll-related tasks.
• Own specific accounting tasks within the close cycle and ensure timely completion.
• Perform transactional accounting activities and properly record, classify, and document transactions.
• Manage inventory and cost accounting to ensure accurate records and reporting.
• Apply e-commerce/CPG accounting methods to inventory and cost transactions.
• Prepare, review, and deliver client accounting reports and financial deliverables.
• Respond to client questions and resolve accounting-related concerns promptly.
• Request and organize missing documentation to support accurate accounting.
• Maintain clean, up-to-date records in QBO and Double.
• Identify discrepancies and escalate issues to the Controller.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
• Support process improvements and team projects.
