Kuehne+Nagel in Colombia seeks a Sea Logistics Operational Care Specialist to coordinate export operations, ensure accurate documentation, and communicate with carriers and customers for a seamless shipment flow.

You will manage sea freight export bookings, keep stakeholders updated, and work with internal teams to optimize the execution of exports while maintaining a high level of service in a global logistics environment.

Formación

• Professional or final-semester student in International Business, Foreign Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in logistics, foreign trade, freight forwarding, or related operational roles.
• Experience managing bookings.
• Experience communicating and coordinating with carriers and/or shipping lines.
• Knowledge of export documentation and international logistics processes.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Customer-service orientation and attention to detail.
• Conversational English.
• Proactive, collaborative, and willing to continue developing within the logistics industry.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and follow up on sea freight export operations, ensuring shipments are handled accurately and on time.
• Manage and monitor bookings with carriers and shipping lines.
• Maintain effective communication with carriers, shipping lines, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare, review, and follow up on export documentation.
• Ensure operational information is updated accurately throughout the shipment process.
• Follow up on shipment status and proactively communicate relevant updates or potential issues.
• Support the resolution of operational requirements and ensure a high level of service.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient execution of export shipments.
