Sezzle is seeking a Principal Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and operate a scalable cloud platform. You will own architecture, drive performance improvements, and automate operations for a high-availability fintech service.

Responsibilities include managing AWS-based infrastructure, Kubernetes, and Aurora RDS, plus incident response and disaster recovery. Strong coding, cloud, and SRE tooling skills are essential for success.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field.
• 12+ years of experience across infrastructure and platform engineering.
• Deep expertise with AWS and Kubernetes in production.
• Experience with relational databases (RDS/Aurora MySQL/Postgres).
• Strong coding/automation skills using Golang or Python.

Responsabilidades

• Own the technical architecture and evolution of core infrastructure.
• Improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency across systems.
• Design and build AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes platform.
• Scale Aurora RDS for MySQL and Postgres; optimize queries and failover.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
• Build AI-assisted operational tooling and observability.
