Job summary

Azumo is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to embed with client teams across Latin America, owning software, data pipelines, models, or AI systems in production. You will sit inside the client repository with their constraints and deadlines, delivering end-to-end ownership and directly addressing issues when things break.

We hire developers who can navigate production environments, work with AI coding agents daily, and collaborate across cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) with Docker and CI/CD

Qualifications

• 7+ years building and shipping production software.
• Experience as the only engineer on an engagement.
• Delivering inside a client's environment without supervision.
• Direct client-facing experience.
• End-to-end ownership of at least one system in production.
• Daily delivery with AI coding agents.
• Cloud deployment on Azure or AWS with Docker and CI/CD.
• English at C1/C2.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end delivery within client engagements, from discovery to incident follow-up.
• Tackle unassigned work, data issues, and unexpected challenges directly with clients.
• Communicate with clients to set expectations, push back when needed, and justify decisions.
• Demonstrate acceptance criteria without a separate testing phase.
• Enable reproducible delivery with agent-based workflows and well-structured repos.
