Job summary

Azumo is a San Francisco-based software company hiring a Cloud DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure for production AI systems. The role is fully remote across Latin America, aligned to client working days. You will manage clusters, deployment pipelines, and monitoring, ensuring uptime and cost efficiency.

You will build scalable infrastructure for AI workloads, enforce security hardening, and work across environments, including client repos. Strong IaC and CI/CD experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a DevOps/SRE or systems engineer managing production infrastructure.
• Kubernetes in production with provisioning, upgrades and debugging.
• IaC with Terraform or equivalent including state and environment parity.
• CI/CD pipelines you built and maintain (GitHub Actions, GitLab or equivalent).
• Cloud deployment experience on AWS, Azure or GCP with cost model awareness.
• Monitoring and incident work across Datadog, CloudWatch or equivalent, resolving to root cause.

Responsibilities

• Own the infrastructure that AI systems run on: clusters, deployment, and monitoring.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and container images with consistent builds.
• Manage infrastructure cost, capacity and performance, balancing needs and budgets.
• Hardening Linux, containers, Kubernetes, and security automation as part of daily work.
• Work across client environments, with SOC 2 and HIPAA considerations as applicable.
