Formulated Automation is seeking a Freight Operations & Sales Specialist to support a U.S. box truck brokerage. The role blends daily shipment coordination with aggressive commercial outreach and requires hands-on experience coordinating shipments and building new freight lanes.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in U.S. freight brokerage or 3PL, strong English communication, and a track record of meeting weekly volume targets. This remote role reports to the Operations Lead.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in U.S. freight brokerage, 3PL, or trucking operations.
• Proven experience in proactive cold calling, outbound sales, and building new freight lanes from scratch.
• Hands-on experience coordinating box truck or truckload shipments and handling daily operational issues.
• Advanced English proficiency with strong verbal communication skills for direct U.S. client interaction.
• Track record of achieving operational targets, such as high backhaul utilization rates and weekly volume goals.
• Ability to report directly to leadership and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Sales & Lane Development (75% focus): outbound cold calling and lead generation to build new shipper relationships and establish freight lanes.
• Inbound & Client Engagement (25% focus): follow up on inquiries, respond to quotes, and manage ongoing account communications.
• Volume & Capacity Growth: drive carrier growth to target a minimum weekly volume of $5,000 across multiple carriers.
• Backhaul Optimization: focus on selling and securing return loads to ensure a backhaul fill rate >90%.
• Operations & Execution: coordinate daily freight progress, communicate with drivers and U.S. clients, resolve issues promptly.
• Documentation & Systems: prepare rate confirmations, BOLs, PODs, and maintain CRM and TMS records.
