Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking an experienced Identity Account Executive to join our Federal Sales team. This role focuses on selling to Government System Integrators and advancing CMMC 2.0 aligned initiatives by developing relationships with senior decision makers and program offices.

You will build a robust book of business in the Federal space, present compelling business value, and collaborate with inside sales and engineering to deliver our identity security solutions across geographies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in enterprise software sales within DoD, Civilian and GSI.
• Track record of closing $100k+ deals.
• Ability to conduct executive level presentations.
• Knowledge of Information Security is a plus.
• Willing to travel 30-40%.

Responsibilities

• Penetrate Federal System Integrators to drive sales of the Idira Portfolio with a focus on meeting CMMC 2.0 requirements.
• Target at the C-level, Program Office and practitioner/IT levels of agencies.
• Cultivate your own book of business in the Federal space.
• Establish relationships with partners and 3rd parties involved in selling information security solutions.
• Collaborate with local VARs: share knowledge and coordinate mutual marketing events.
• Work with inside sales and engineering throughout the sales process.
• Generate leads by scheduling and presenting at local seminars and trade shows.
• Follow up on leads, schedule and present in remote or onsite meetings.
• Demonstrate product capabilities and address technical questions with engineers.
• Negotiate terms/pricing and close deals.
