BairesDev is seeking a Database Internals Engineer to contribute to the core architecture and performance of our data storage engines. You will work at the lowest levels of the software stack, focusing on reliability of transaction management and query execution.

Formación

• Architect high-performance storage engines for databases.
• Implement robust concurrency control and recovery (MVCC, WAL).
• Optimize query execution paths to minimize latency and maximize throughput.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and refine high-performance storage engines utilizing B-tree or LSM-tree structures.
• Implement and maintain robust concurrency control and recovery mechanisms, including MVCC and WAL.
• Optimize query execution paths to ensure minimal latency and maximal throughput for complex operations.
• Design and improve distributed data replication protocols to ensure system consistency and availability.
• Write efficient, thread-safe code in C, C++, or Rust to handle mission-critical database tasks.
• Collaborate with systems engineers to define the next generation of scalable data infrastructure.
