BairesDev is seeking a Database Internals Engineer to work on core storage engine architecture and performance. You will tackle challenging tasks at the low levels of the software stack, focusing on transaction management and query execution.

You will write high-performance, thread-safe code in C, C++, or Rust and collaborate with a global team to shape the next generation of scalable data infrastructure.

Formación

• Low-level systems programming experience.
• Knowledge of storage engine architectures.
• Familiarity with concurrency control mechanisms.
• Experience with high-performance and thread-safe code.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and refine high-performance storage engines using B-tree or LSM-tree structures.
• Implement and maintain concurrency control and recovery mechanisms (MVCC, WAL).
• Optimize query execution paths for minimal latency and high throughput.
• Design and improve distributed data replication protocols for consistency and availability.
• Write efficient, thread-safe code in C, C++, or Rust for database tasks.
• Collaborate with systems engineers to define next-gen scalable data infrastructure.
