Remote Cold Caller/Appointment Setter

Allied Roofing & Construction is a 30+ year exterior construction company serving residential and commercial clients across Northern New Jersey. Our primary focus is roofing, with siding and windows as additional services. We are growing our remote calling team and looking for driven, resilient appointment setters who can help connect homeowners with trusted roofing and exterior solutions.

We are hiring a Remote Cold Caller/Appointment Setter to make outbound calls, qualify potential customers, and book appointments for our sales team. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable making approximately 300-500 outbound calls per day using company-provided auto dialer systems, can handle rejection without losing energy, and knows how to stay positive, professional, and consistent throughout the day. The right candidate is not afraid of hearing "no," follows a proven process, and is motivated by performance-based earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to homeowners and potential customers using company-provided lists
• Introduce Allied Roofing & Construction's roofing, siding, and exterior services
• Qualify leads and identify potential customer needs
• Book appointments for the sales team
• Follow call scripts while keeping conversations natural and professional
• Accurately enter call notes, lead details, and appointment information into company systems
• Follow up with prospects as needed
• Meet daily call volume, contact, and appointment-setting goals
• Communicate clearly with the sales and management team
• Stay consistent, positive, and focused even when facing rejection

Qualifications

• Previous cold calling, appointment setting, telemarketing, or outbound sales experience preferred
• Excellent spoken English required
• Strong communication, listening, and persuasion skills
• Comfortable making a high volume of calls every day
• Resilient, self-motivated, and able to handle rejection professionally
• Reliable, punctual, and accountable
• Able to follow scripts, processes, and feedback from the team
• Comfortable using calling software, CRM tools, and online systems
• Reliable internet connection, quiet workspace, and working headset required
• Experience calling U.S. customers is a strong plus
• Roofing, construction, home improvement, or service industry experience is a plus

Pay and Benefits

• Independent Contractor (freelance contract; not an employee position)
• Pay: USD $8.00-$12.00 per hour, depending on experience, with additional performance-based bonus opportunities.
• Performance bonus based on qualified appointments that result in completed sales. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process.
