Allied Roofing & Construction is seeking a Remote Commercial Roofing Estimator based in Latin America to prepare accurate estimates for commercial roofing projects, focusing on TPO and EPDM systems. The role requires reviewing plans, specs, and site data and delivering timely estimates as part of an independent contractor arrangement.

The position offers an 8–15 USD hourly rate with performance-based bonuses and full or part-time flexibility, supported by training on Allied's pricing standards

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Review commercial roofing plans, specs, measurements, photos, inspection reports and scopes of work.
• Prepare estimates for installation, replacement and repair projects (TPO/EPDM).
• Complete material takeoffs and calculate labor, equipment, disposal, permit and subcontractor costs.
• Account for insulation, membranes, flashing, fastening systems and accessories in estimates.
• Identify conditions affecting scope or pricing and coordinate with sales/production.

Remote Commercial Roofing Estimator

Location: Remote -- Latin America

Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time, with consistent overlap during U.S. Eastern Time business hours

Arrangement: Independent Contractor

Pay: 8-15 USD per hour, depending on experience, plus performance-based bonus opportunities.

Allied Roofing & Construction is a 30+ year exterior construction company serving residential and commercial clients throughout Northern New Jersey. Our primary focus is roofing, with siding, windows, and related exterior services.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Remote Commercial Roofing Estimator based in Latin America to prepare accurate, complete, and timely estimates for commercial roofing projects.

This position requires hands-on commercial roofing estimating experience, including TPO and EPDM roofing systems. Candidates must have experience estimating TPO and EPDM projects to be considered. You will review plans, specifications, measurements, inspection information, and project scopes to ensure that estimates account for the labor, materials, equipment, and job conditions needed to complete the work.

Key Responsibilities

• Review commercial roofing plans, specifications, measurements, photographs, inspection reports, and scopes of work.
• Prepare estimates for commercial roofing installation, replacement, and repair projects, including TPO and EPDM roofing systems.
• Complete material takeoffs and calculate labor, equipment, disposal, permit, and subcontractor costs.
• Account for roofing materials and components, including insulation, membranes, flashing, fastening systems, and accessories.
• Identify project conditions that may affect scope or pricing, including roof access, tear-off requirements, penetrations, and potential repairs.
• Use company pricing sheets, estimating templates, software, and established procedures.
• Verify quantities, pricing, assumptions, exclusions, and scope details before submitting estimates.
• Identify missing information and coordinate with sales and production to resolve questions.
• Prepare clear estimate summaries and support proposal revisions, change orders, and updated pricing requests.
• Maintain organized estimating records, supporting documents, and current cost information.
• Flag unusual conditions, scope gaps, and pricing concerns promptly.
• Meet agreed turnaround times while protecting estimate accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• At least one year of commercial roofing estimating experience required; two or more years preferred.
• Commercial roofing estimating experience with both TPO and EPDM roofing systems is required. Candidates without TPO and EPDM estimating experience will not be considered.
• Working knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, installation requirements, and estimating practices.
• Familiarity with U.S. commercial roofing terminology and construction practices.
• Experience preparing material takeoffs and labor-cost calculations.
• Ability to interpret plans, specifications, measurements, photographs, and technical project information.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and estimating or takeoff software.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates, revisions, and deadlines independently.
• Reliable internet connection and a professional remote-work environment.
• Availability for a consistent full-time or part-time schedule with overlap during Eastern Time business hours.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
