Job summary

World Business Lenders, LLC is seeking an experienced Closing Operations professional to manage the daily workflow and keep loans progressing from Clear-to-Close through funding. You will support Closers, coordinate with internal departments and external partners, and uphold quality standards in a fully remote environment.

This role emphasizes strong communication, meticulous documentation, and proactive issue resolution to protect collateral and meet SLAs across the closing process.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of loan closing, title clearance, and collateral documentation.
• Ability to manage workloads, meet deadlines, and honor SLAs.
• Excellent communication with internal teams and external partners.
• Experience guiding teams, coordinating workflows, and deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with rigorous documentation and QA practices.

Responsibilities

• Daily Closing Operations: assist the Closing Manager with workflow, assignments, and priorities.
• Monitor the closing pipeline to ensure on-schedule closings and timely funding.
• Provide guidance to Closers on requirements, procedures, and compliance.
• Review loan documents, settlement statements, payoff docs, and closing instructions.
• Coordinate with underwriting, title, legal, and funding to resolve conditions.
• Identify delays and escalate issues to the Closing Manager, handling complex closings as needed.
• Team Support: onboarding, training, and workload management for new staff.
• Quality and Process: review packages, reduce errors, and enforce checklists.
• Compliance and Risk: ensure adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
