At BairesDev, we are building cutting-edge data platforms and empower teams with analytics-ready data using dbt. We seek a Software Engineer specializing in dbt to transform warehouse data with modular models, tests, and documentation.

You will apply software engineering rigor to SQL transformations, collaborate with data stakeholders, and optimize projects for performance and cost in a fully remote, global team offering flexible hours and competitive USD compensation.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Proven expertise with dbt for models, tests and documentation.
• Strong SQL and data modeling in modern data warehouses.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop modular dbt models to transform raw data into analytics-ready tables and views.
• Implement software engineering best practices such as version control and automated testing for SQL-based transformations.
• Collaborate with data stakeholders to define and document robust data models and business logic.
• Optimize dbt projects for performance and cost-efficiency within the cloud data warehouse.
• Maintain the integrity of the data platform with high test coverage and clear documentation.
