BairesDev is seeking a Database Engineer (Ops) to manage production databases, ensure high availability, and optimize enterprise data environments. This fully remote role offers flexible hours and the chance to work with a global Top 1% of talent.

You will tune queries, implement HA/DR solutions, design maintenance plans, and collaborate with engineering to set database standards. Proficiency with SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, or MySQL and strong English are required.

Formación

• 5+ years in database administration or operations.
• Experience with production DB tuning and HA/DR.
• Proficiency in T-SQL or PL/SQL.
• Experience with backups, replication, and performance optimization.
• Strong English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Manage production databases for high availability and uptime.
• Implement replication and backups for data integrity and DR.
• Monitor and tune performance for complex queries.
• Design maintenance plans including index management.
• Collaborate with engineering to define database standards and health.
