1000heads is seeking an IT Engineer based in Bogotá to own day-to-day IT support across the Americas, including Bogotá, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami and New York. You will be the primary on-the-ground IT contact for the region, partnering with the Global IT Director and solving issues with minimal supervision.

Fluent English is essential (minimum B2). Hybrid work is required, with at least two days in the Bogotá office, and you will manage Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, device provisioning, AV

• 2–4 years' IT support or IT engineer experience, ideally supporting more than one office or region.
• Strong troubleshooting ability across macOS and Windows operating systems.
• Confident with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace tools, and comfortable picking up creative tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (Wi‑Fi, switches, firewalls and access points).
• Experience supporting AV/meeting-room technology (Teams, Zoom, Google Meet and related hardware).
• Fluent written and verbal English and Spanish, given cross-region coordination with US and global stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Americas regional IT support: Act as the primary IT point of contact for all US offices and provide face-to-face and remote support.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues on macOS and Windows devices.
• Set up and configure equipment for new starters, meeting rooms, and system/maintenance tasks across the region.
• Manage hardware maintenance, lifecycle and updates, and maintain accurate records of regional assets.
• Troubleshoot office network issues and liaise with vendors or landlords as needed.
• Support audio/visual and meeting-room technology (Teams, Google Meet) across Americas offices.
• Global office coverage: provide overflow and out-of-hours IT support to non-Americas offices when time zones permit.
• Escalate with Global IT Director and other regional contacts on cross-office incidents and projects.
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 apps; monitor tickets in Freshservice; keep records up to standard.
• Maintain endpoint security and onboarding/offboarding processes; audit-ready IT documentation.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and support wider business goals; take on small projects as they arise.
