ScotiaTech in Bogota seeks an experienced application developer to design, test and support SharePoint-based solutions, both online and on-premises. You will contribute to production support, implement enhancements, and follow best practices while collaborating with international teams.

Requirements include 2+ years in SharePoint development, strong JavaScript/REST API, PowerShell, and English/Spanish language fluency (B1). Hybrid office environment with rotating on-call duties may apply.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science
• Minimum 2 years of experience in application development, testing and support using SharePoint (Online / OnPremises) and related technologies
• Must be familiar with .NET / REST API / JavaScript and PowerShell scripting; good understanding of design patterns and best practices
• Experience with build and deployment tools such as Azure DevOps / Visual Studio Team System
• Language fluency in English and Spanish (B1)
• Undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related discipline
• Desirable Microsoft Certifications (SharePoint / SPFX / PowerApps / Microsoft 365 Fundamentals)

Purpose

Accountabilities

Education / Experience / Other Information

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science
• Minimum 2 years of experience in application development, testing and support using SharePoint (Online / OnPremises) and related technologies (nice to have)
• Must be familiar with Net / Rest API / JavaScript and PowerShell scriptingGood understanding in design patterns and best practices
• Experience with build and deployment tools such as Azure Devops / Visual Studio Team System
• Language fluency in English and Spanish B1
• A recognized under-graduate degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related discipline
• Desirable to have Microsoft Certifications (SharePoint / SPFX / PowerApps / Microsoft 365 Fundamentals).

Working Conditions

Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence
